2) Creating a Final Cut from an Unfinished Project
Over the years, PPS has been approached by event media producers who have been “stuck” in post production when the video production company they hired either produced low-quality footage, substandard editing or both. On all of these occasions, PPS was able to create an edit that was an appropriate Final Cut for the event production company and the client. Oftentimes, the client was unaware that there was was problem. In these cases PPS rearranged our post production schedule to immediately begin work on their distressed project.
The result? PPS “saved the day” and created a polished edit acceptable to the producer and the client.
In this video example, PPS did not produce any of the digital media in this event. We were contacted by the photographer who was also the event media producer to help him produce a Final Cut when he found out that the video production company they hired had produced substandard footage. The problems in this example were not only video but also audio. Again, PPS came to the rescue.
3) Remote Green Screen Post Production Services
The use of a “Green Screen” for businesses of all sizes can be a flexible alternative to their branding and video post production plans. In the Green Screen process, the talent is filmed in front of a Green background and then in post production, the Green color is removed leaving only the talent. Then, in post production, any video background of the client’s choice can be inserted behind the talent to simulate an actual office environment. A larger company can even choose actual photos of the inside of their business as a background. For ongoing corporate productions, this type of approach can be very cost effective and efficient.
PPS can build a company owned professional Green Screen Studio, including lighting, at any location that has adequate space. PPS can manage the filming at this location or we can train company employees how to help produce the footage that PPS needs to complete post production.
Having employees engaged in this process not only reduces costs but it also gives the company complete flexibility to produce video content on their schedule. The completed footage is simply uploaded to PPS to create the Final Cuts.
Here is a good example of this process. One of our former clients, Dr. Ivan Misner, founder of BNI, moved out of state and he wanted to keep working with PPS. His new home had plenty of room for a Green Studio and so we consulted him and he built one. For about three years he produced numerous online marketing videos and PPS produced the post-production at our studio in Orange County.
